Before booking one of our experiences, please read through these important notes and make sure you’re happy with our terms and conditions.
We work with our magnificent birds each and every day, however they are wild animals and apex predators and may, at some times, hunt and capture prey. Please bear this in mind when accompanying us on our experiences and be sure to comply with all of our health and safety instructions.

Health and Safety
Lake District Falconry has insurance should any member of the party have an injury from the birds through no fault of their own. The insurance does not extend to personal property of the guests such as phones or cameras, or vehicles.
Should injury occur as a result of guests not following health and safety procedures outlined at the start of each falconry experience, Lake District Falconry will not be liable. This includes approaching the birds unsupervised, trying to touch or ‘stroke’ the birds or not following guidance outlined by the falconer at all times.
Some experiences take place over rolling woodland, and guests are to wear suitable clothing and footwear. All guests are to take responsibility for their own safety and personal property and Lake District Falconry are not liable for any falls or slips, acts of nature or any other incidents that are outside the control of Lake District Falconry.
Due to the terrain on our experiences, there is no wheelchair or push-chair access. If you do require disability access, or have any limitations, please notify Lake District Falconry before booking and we will do our best to accommodate as best we can, which may involve a change in locations.
There is a minimum age of seven for the guests on the experience and all minors must be accompanied by a guardian eighteen years or over.
No dogs or other pets are allowed on any of our experiences. If you do require an assistance dog present, please speak with us first and discuss with our falconers before booking.
Should any member of the party have a phobia of birds or any other concerns they must tell the falconer prior to the experience.
Cancellations
With the exceptions of weddings and corporate events, a minimum of forty-eight hours is required to cancel an experience and this can then be rescheduled subject to availability. For all experiences we require a non-refundable deposit.
